IOU, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 81-2203628) providing digital family organization
and legacy planning tools. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal, financial, or medical advice.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining your account security
• One person per account — do not share login credentials

Your Content

• You retain full ownership of everything you upload
• You grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content solely to provide the service
• We do not access, review, or share your content except as required by law

Acceptable Use

• Do not use our platform for illegal purposes
• Do not upload malicious files or content
• Do not attempt to access other users’ data

Free Accounts

Eligible veterans, first responders, Gold Star families, and individuals with qualifying debilitating conditions
receive free access as part of our nonprofit mission. Eligibility may be verified through SheerID or equivalent services.

Paid Subscriptions

• Pricing is listed on our billing page within the app
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time — access continues through the end of the billing period
• Payments are processed by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers

Limitation of Liability

IOU, Inc. provides this service “as is.” We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or damages
arising from use of our platform. We recommend maintaining independent copies of critical documents.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
